ZOUBALOFF, JACQUES.
Clos Joli. I: Les Fleurs; II: Les Fruits.
Paris: Éditions d’Art Charles Moreau, 1929.

Complete two-volume botanical suite reproducing Jacques Zoubaloff’s vivid watercolor studies of flowers and fruit. With an introduction by Guillaume Janneau.

Each volume contains 50 full-page color plates produced by the celebrated Paris atelier of Daniel Jacomet—100 plates in total. The images are characterized by simplified forms and unusually bright, modern color, bridging traditional botanical illustration and French decorative art of the Art Deco period.

Two large quarto volumes in the publisher’s cloth-backed boards, each with a mounted color illustration on the front cover. Issued in a limited edition of 325 copies on ivory wove paper, including 25 hors-commerce copies. These copies are unnumbered.

A visually striking decorative-art reference with distinguished provenance from the personal collection of legendary fashion and interior-design icon Iris Apfel.

Edition: Unnumbered copies from an edition of 325.
Illustrations: One hundred full-page color plates after watercolors by Jacques Zoubaloff, reproduced by Daniel Jacomet.
Format: Two hardcover volumes, each approximately 35 × 31 cm (13¾ × 12¼ inches).
