A five-volume Folio Society History of England set in matching decorated blue cloth and slipcase.
The set contains Anglo-Saxon England by Peter Hunter Blair; Early Medieval England by M. T. Clanchy; England in the Later Middle Ages by M. H. Keen; England under the Tudors by G. R. Elton; and England under the Stuarts by G. M. Trevelyan. The photographed title page of Early Medieval England is dated 1997. Its publication page names Felipe Fernández-Armesto as general editor and Bernard Roberts as designer. Printing statements for the other four volumes are not shown.
Condition: Very Good. Light shelf wear to the five decorated hardcovers and slipcase. The seven photographs show all five spines, the slipcase, a decorated cover, and details from Early Medieval England.
All five named volumes and the matching slipcase are included. A uniform 1997 printing across the set is not claimed. Unphotographed interior completeness has not been checked page by page.
